NDC provides excellent Information Technology (IT) enabled facilities for the Course members. The infrastructure consists of a high-speed network, dedicated terminals for course members and printing facilities. The IT assets at the Research & Referral Section and IAG Rooms are exclusively meant for the use of Course Members. The IT, Audio/ Visual facilities and Communication equipment comes under GSO (Systems).
The college website (https://ndc.nic.in) comes under GSO (Systems). The important updates and information pertaining to training, tours and other misc. activities are made available to course members after logging in to the website. The other information as relevant is made available in open domain for broader dissemination.
The College is provided with 100 MBPS National Knowledge Network and 500 MBPS MTNL Internet Leased Line connections for research and training work for course members, Faculty and staff. The College Campus is also covered through secure Wi-Fi environment.
All Course members are issued with laptops for the duration of course only. Any course member holding any official laptop from previous offices/ departments will be required to provide its details to the College.
The College has dedicated set up in place for conducting Video Conferencing. The infrastructure also has provision to connect all IAG rooms in an ‘on campus’ environment as well as on internet. The facility has been extensively utilised during the conduct of Hybrid classes, Seminars, guest lectures, presentations and other training related activities.
A high-end Video Wall system is installed in the Aviator Hall exclusively for lectures, presentations etc. The Aviator Hall will be upgraded with digital audio conferencing system. The present audio conferencing system has been integrated with Video Conferencing facilities and works as the central placed for conduct of official briefings for high level delegations, control room for training exercise etc.
Cyber security measures as per latest info-sec/ policy guidelines have been instituted at the College. These are regularly updated from time to time as per advisories and also on pro-active measures. Preventive measures such as installation of latest generation of Firewalls, centralised Antivirus and patch management servers, server level policies and training of users are undertaken on regular basis. All Course members will be required to ensure cyber hygiene for all laptops issued by NDC. Carrying of portable thumb drives, HDD or any storage material is prohibited. Permission for carrying personal laptops to college will be required to be taken through Info-Sec officer of the College .
