Lt Gen YVK Mohan, SM, VSM
born on 20 Dec 1960, had his early education at the renowned Sainik School Korukonda. He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Pune and was commissioned into the Indian Army,
Infantry (11 Gorkha Rifles

at College of Air Warfare, Secunderabad and

. He has held a number of important instructional and staff appointments. The General Offcier has been an instructor at National Defence Academy, Khadakwasla and Defence Services Staff College, Wellington. He has also served as

The General Officer has distinguished academic record. He has acquired M Sc and M Phil in Defence and Strategic Studies. He is proficient in four languages (English, Hindi, Telugu and Nepali).
